CHOQUEKIRAO 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS

Choquekirao is considered as the last Inca refuge that resisted the conquistadors for decades. It is located at the top of the Apurimac Canyon in a strategic geographical area between the mountains and the jungle eyebrow.

Itinerary:

FIRST DAY: Cusco - Cachora - Chiquisqa.
A hotel pick start time 6:00 am to begin the journey to the town of Cachora in the journey we will stop a moment to appreciate the bus the Adventure Toursarchaeological remains of Tarawasi, and then continue to the Cunyac bridge between the departments of Cusco and Apurimac, then we will pass through the district of Curawasi and Saywute to finally reach Cachora (10:00 approx). From this place we will start our trekking along a gentle slope to reach the Capuliyoc Pass (2800 masl) and place of our lunch after a two-hour hike, then we will head towards the village of Chaquisqa (1930 masl) Path is lowered and the landscape is breathtaking and beautiful and the climate warm, in this place we will have our first camp, are three hours of hiking.

Adventure ToursSECOND DAY: Chiquisca - Playa Rosalina -Sunchupata.
After breakfast (5:00 a.m.), we will continue our walk towards the beach Rosalinas (1550 m), then climb the very early slope towards Santa Rosa (2100 m), which is our lunch. The most difficult which we will do in three hours, and then ascend to Maranpata (2850 masl) which is a milder climb that during this journey will be able to appreciate all the way of the first day and the vegetation that exists in this place then we will cross a Straight section with direction to Sunchupata that in this place we will have our camp and that the time of trek is of two hours, from here it is an hour to Choquenquirao.

THIRD DAY: Sunchupata - Choquequirao - Chaquisqa.
Very early after breakfast (5:00 a.m.) we will go to Choquenquirao which is an hour of walking to be able to receive the dawn of Choquenquirao, this site will be visited for three hours always accompanied by the guide who will aptly explain about this important refuge inka. A time will begin the return to Sunchupata and start descending to Santa Rosa place of our lunch, and then descend to the beach Rosalina that takes about an hour arrival at Rosalina we will go to the town of Chaquisqa two hours Adventure Toursof Rosalinas and in this place we will camp.

FOURTH DAY: Chaquisiqa - Capuliyoc - Cachora.
A good breakfast will be served in Chaquisqa (06:00 am) and return by the same way to Cachora which is the slope that is lowered on the first day that is softer with a two hour ascent until arriving at the passage of Capuliyoc and that From here are two hours more to the town of Cachora which is a much milder stretch and we will be arriving at 12:00 pm aprox, on the way we will appreciate exotic flora and fauna as well as views of imposing snowfall and the impressive Apurimac Canyon. In the afternoon we will transfer to the thermal baths of Qonoq where we will rest for an hour and then continue to the city of Cusco to which we will arrive at 8:00 pm transfer to the hotel and end of our services.
